Due to the Covid 19 situation in line with Government Guidelines, we have restricted capacity to 8 delegates, however the normal capacities for both rooms are:
Boardroom style: 16
Open U style: 12 plus top table for 2
Theatre style: 22
if you want a more flexible layout room 2 is better suited and teh same size and very similar décor as room 1. Room one is laid out board rooms style as per the photos.
Room 1 is equipped with:
1 x Flip chart
1 x 56 inch White board
1 x 38 inch size TV screen that your own lap top can be attached or we have computer facilities available on request.
Full zoom meeting abilities including full room camera for multi site meetings.
Plus direct access to Foyer area which contains toilet facilities.
Room 2 gives direct access to the hall and is designed to be much more flexible.
Rooms 1 and 2 can be opened up and used as 1 large room via sound proof doors and curtains and so capacities can be doubled.
Room 1 is 5.6 meters by 7.3 meters
Room 2 is 5.6 meters by 7.3 meters
The fully usable height of the room is 2.8 meters. The lights and beams are above this height
The normal room lay out of room 1 is open u style for 12 plus top table and room 2 board room for 12. so if you require a different layout please advise so we can ensure you have all
the items you need from our stores. If additional items need to be hired
then this would be at a costs.
The normal hire charges for room 1 or 2 is £12.00 per hour in the evening
or £11.00 for daytime hours (please allow set up time, plus time to
return the room to the condition you found within the hire times). For
more details please see attached our current price list. The maximum charge 5 hours in any one day, so over 5 hours is free is any one day.
Refreshment breaks are available on request or on a self service basis. Please contact us for your requirements. but we have packages like.
£5.00 per person for a sandwich lunch with tea and coffee severing at £2.50 per person per serving. Alternatively the community Café can be used when open.
We can also offer a full service option with the room laid for your requirements.
For those with 8 or more delegates we can offer a Day delegate of £15.00 including 3 lots of tea and coffee and a sandwich lunch.
If you are planning a large conference over the capacities of room 1 or 2 please ask us for details as may may be able to offer the main hall for your event if numbers are sufficient.
When sufficient notice is given we can give a free cancellation if due to Covid 19 restrictions
We also offer discounts for "Not for profit organisations/ charities" as well as discount for new starters groups placing block bookings, please contact us for more details.
We are of course ourselves a non profit charity run by volunteers that puts
all profits back into the centre and Elton community.
If you have some dates in mind our calendar on the calendar tab will give you
an indication as to if any other events are booked into the centre.
